Pros
Pluralsight is the only company I've ever worked for who actually follows through with the promises they make. I've never had a job where I feel less stressed about work while I'm actually AT work, until now. The culture here is phenomenal--the founders have taken a lot of time to study different management methods and they truly value their employees. Our CEO is one of the most intriguing people I've ever met. He's so kind and appreciative to his staff, and works out in the open floor plan with us-- he doesn't even have an office! And yet he is one of the most amazing thought leaders in the industry. He honestly supports the work of his team and wants everyone to continue growing and learning, within the company and personally. I've never had so much respect for management--mostly because they don't demand it, but honestly deserve it.
Cons
Having so much freedom and opportunity within the company could be taken advantage of -- some people in today's workforce, unfortunately, do need to be treated like children and have their hands held and wrists slapped every step of the way. Luckily, these people don't fit in very well at Pluralsight...in which case, it's adios! We are experiencing some growing pains, which is to be expected when you are growing at the speed of light! But once all of the procedural ground work (Marketing specifically affects me) is solidified, I don't think there will be any stopping us.
