Pros

Great benefits. Like other tech companies, you are able to learn a lot.

Cons

It is very common across cities and departments for people of color to be treated unfairly. The company is especially not kind to women of color. For D&I numbers, there was an increase in the hiring of people of color. However, the company lacks diversity at the mid-management level and above. People of color have a very hard time getting recognition and/or promotions. Turnover rates for people of color are probably extremely high, lasting on average 2-3 years at the company. Just search "Pinterest" and "lawsuit" to see about their historical discrimination cases and their current investigation. As a person of color, after 2-3 years you will either be exhausted from the constant microaggressions that you resign or you will be terminated as a result of retaliation. And people of color are paid less. The company pretends to be fair and inclusive. Although considered to be a "safe place on the internet", the company probably has the most toxic work environment in the tech industry, for people of color. If you are not a person of color, you will enjoy working here and I'm sure you will thrive. You will also be able to do the bare minimum and get paid handsomely. But for any person of color, DO NOT APPLY.
