Pros

The benefits are excellent. If you enjoy sales, then this position would be a great starting point. It does not offer any commissions, however, but like I said, it is a great place to hone in on your selling skills. There is not much room for advancement, unless you plan on becoming a sales rep. If you are interested in dealing with the human health division of Pfizer, you would pretty much need to locate to ishkibble in order to pursue a career change. Overall, other employees were very helpful and the management staff was pretty informative and often supportive.

Cons

You get burned out very quickly. You spend the entire day speaking with veterinarians who believe they are more educated than you, not knowing that most of us are college educated in the field of biology or vet medicine. The turnover rate was ridiculous because people got tired of being berated eight hours a day, 40 hours a week. The company offered a "quiet room" and most people spent their quiet time crying over some vet who insulted their intelligence. The management, though sometimes supportive, was always "by the book", not taking into consideration that everyone's situation is different. Management did little to retain employees.

Pros

A good amount of remote monitoring, which depending on how you view can be a positive.

Cons

Changing systems and inconsistent standards are applied to people. There are many differing models that often muddy how you are supposed to do your job, especially when other staff members don't quite understand. How do you interface with the changing models? There tends to be a lot of blame and foisting of responsibilities. Sometimes you can become overburdened with a lot of work, where people do not respect your time and think that their tasks should take priority. It is possible to be contacted late at night with work to do and then be criticized the next day for not being able to keep up.
