Pros
Lots to learn, many aspects to the product and technology. Many of the customers are interesting and the complexity to manage products around the globe is a very exciting undertaking. One won't get bored with the work.
Cons
Global services management lacks focus and vision. The shuffle people around every year or two and call it a reorg. PTC does not know how to run a Global Services, manage people nor do they care for people. I the Global Services, I am not even sure if they care for their own product. Management is for themselves, the people and the product are just a way to line their own pockets. This is a cultural attitude, not individual.
