Not a bad place for kids to cut their teeth - Crew Trainer McDonald's Employee Review

Pros

It's a good place for students to make a couple of bucks while they're in high school. Additionally, they are very flexible with scheduling (although I think this is mostly due to lack of an option as the other working conditions leave much to be desired). There are also decent incentives for full-time employees. Finally, McDonalds' teaches excellent lessons in stress management, time management, and flexibility for newbies on the job frontier, which will prove valuable in other jobs.

Cons

It's not the best place for people who can't move a million miles an hour. Also, there's the whole fact that it's McDonalds. Additionally, you leave work every day reeking of french fries.

Pros

Good first job but don't stay for more than 2 years unless you get promoted to a manager.

Cons

Job has low pay. Won't give you raises unless they promote you, you are treated the same as a new hire even if you have 2 years of experience. Crew members have no say in anything, they claim when you become a crew trainer your opinion matters.
