Pros
Great first time job experience when I first started, I had awesome managers that were very helpful, and co workers that worked as a team. You learn how t deal with customers, how to multitask, and how to work in a fast paced environment. Chances to move up in the company. If you're a good employee you typically get a raise every six months or so.
Cons
You will want to shower when you get home. If you are a closer, it can get extremely stressful. A lot of work is expected out of the person who closes grill. When you end up being one of the only people who know what they are doing it gets very frustrating. If your running for drive thru and have a slow grill team it can get stressful. Your supposed to keep times at like 90 sec per car. You have to have patients working with new people. Some people can be downright lazy and occasionally the place will be a complete mess when you get there, and of course the closer has to deal with it. Customers can sometimes be impossible to please. Sometimes you don't have enough people scheduled and sometimes there are too many. Everything is timed. FOR's suck. They make everyone a nervous wreck. You have to be fast and accurate and some of the supervisors can be extremely rude. You have to be able to take criticism from them. Unless you want make a career in food service, I would highly suggest you don't work at a fast food restaurant. Oh and there's the stereotype of people who work for McDonalds have no brains.
