Cons
*Widespread Nepotism *Promotions based on favoritism or years suffered at company, not actual merit *High turnover due to lack of recognition and internal politics *Low performers/incompetent hires are somehow are in the highest positions & fly under the radar & get away with doing zero work. *Zero transparency (everything is *hush hush* and secretive) *Painful lack of leadership/structure/organization *High number of low quality hires that seem to lack real expertise. *Low Salary, not competitive at all. *Horrible benefits. *No room for growth, stagnant career. *Everything needs *approval* from east coast. Tedious waterfall process that they try to mask as "Agile & Lean" *Meetings take up 90% of your day with 10% left for real work. Half the meetings are utterly useless and repetitive and most of the time you are left wondering why you were even required to be there as it provided no value. Half the people in the meetings are multi-tasking on their cellphones/laptops & paying no attention. *Outdated tools *No design system *Lack of consistency across all channels (mobile, web, desktop) *Marketing seems to hold the most power, forcing subpar & ridiculous design decisions without any valid user research.
