My experience at Macy’s Supply Chain in China Grove, NC raised serious concerns about how employee complaints are handled. The company promotes an open door policy, but in my experience using it did not lead to meaningful investigation. After raising concerns through HR and internal channels and escalating issues to higher management, I felt my complaints were not fully reviewed. I was ultimately terminated after continuing to report workplace issues, which created the impression that speaking up may carry risks for employees.
There were also situations where employees reported being spoken to in ways that felt disrespectful or intimidating. When these concerns were raised, many employees felt leadership responses were accepted without thorough review.
Because of my experience, I would encourage anyone considering working here to carefully evaluate the workplace culture and how employee concerns are handled.
