Pros

- Cheap food available for break

Cons

- Even though your contract may be part-time, the managers will put you on a full time rota until you continuously complain. - No sense of time. You finish at a minimum of 10 mins late due to the managers cashing up the till. In the evenings, you are expected to stay later to finish off even if it makes you 30mins to an hour late off. -You need managers approval for everything. A refund? You need a manager. Accidentally pressed cash? Manager. £50 note? Manager. Constantly micromanaged with no sense of personal responsibility at the till. -Unrealistic expectations of work. The managers will give you a task and expect it to be done while you do 2-3 other things at once. As a trainee I was given multiple tasks to do without having the time to adjust to actually knowing where everything is.

Doesn’t use much of the new tools, excel only
