Mission: Lidl has a simple philosophy. We are focused on offering customers the highest quality products at the best prices.
I have been working at Lidl part-time
Good Salary, Friendly people
Lack of hours, Long shifts
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Lidl (Newbridge, Co. Kildare) in July 2014.
2 part interview..
First interview involved general questions being interviewed by 3 German men in their 40's/50's. Was then asked to do a small project on things I would change or implement at a Lidl store.
Second interview was mostly a presentation of my "project" including being asked to draw an overview of a Lidl store on a large flip pad indicating which products are found where.
Wasn't offered the job as I was told it came down to me and one other person who had previous project management experience
Happy International Women's day to our colleagues across the business!
Following a successful trial last year, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be rolling out new ‘Fun Size Trolleys’ for kids across our UK stores.
This is part of our commitment to engaging children in the food shop and healthy eating. The trolleys are named after our Oaklands Fun Size range – miniature versions of ordinary fruit and vegetable varieties – which were designed as a creative way for parents to encourage their children to eat five a day. The range launched in 2016 and we currently have over 14 products, including ‘Avodillo’s (baby avocados), Broccoli Trees and Unicorn carrots.
We understand it’s the Lidl things that can make a big difference! With tons of exciting new projects on the go for 2019 and beyond, there’s never been a better time to join Lidl GB. Find out where you could make your mark on the business today: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMA4U
