Pros
The job itself was fine.
Cons
I worked at Jabil through Randstad for over eight months. During this period, I went through a very difficult time in my life: I had serious health issues that required hospitalization and surgery, and shortly after my recovery, my father in Brazil became critically ill and passed away. Randstad initially told me that both they and Jabil were willing to support me during this difficult time. However, despite returning to work and not missing any further days afterwards, I was told that if I had one more absence, I would be dismissed. Even without having additional absences, I was eventually terminated. I was also confused about my contract status. My initial contract was for six months, renewable for another six months, but instead of being renewed, I was dismissed after eight months. There was a lack of clarity regarding outstanding payments and holiday entitlement as well. Overall, I felt there was a serious lack of trust and support. Promises of understanding during bereavement were not honored, and communication about the contract and termination was unclear. Cons: Lack of genuine support during personal crisis, poor communication, and job insecurity
