Pros
Open culture, good work-life balance, opportunities to work on multiple technologies, and to work and take up projects that you are interested in, well-qualified top management
Cons
Worst management at the middle layer. People have got promoted based on the number of years they have stayed with the company and not their competence. Middle level managers displaying questionable ethical practices. Favoritism is rampant in the company. Too much emphasis on getting on the project management stream as you go up and little scope to be focused on the technology, which is bad considering that Infosys is a technology consulting company. Pay rates are among the lowest in the industry, which senior management is doing nothing about. Employee loyalty is of no value to the company, they would rather hire incompetent people from outside on higher roles and salaries, instead of looking for people from within the company. Company expects you to go out of your way to help the projects and company but when it comes to hikes and promotions, everything is driven by the number of years of experience you have and what has been written in policies written by HR (which has no clue of reality at the ground level).
