Pros

Good work life balance for some teams, a lot of amenities when people were in office

Cons

Tons of good people have left recently including the SVP of Engineering, Sr Director of TA, several managers at all levels, and tons of IC’s, all for good reason. They were a good company but haven’t handled growth well

Thanks for leaving a review of your work experience and your 3+ year of service at Indeed. We’ve grown substantially during this time frame, in large part because of the fantastic work of our Talent Attraction team. While we’re always aiming for high employee retention, we recognise that as the needs of the business change, it’s natural that some people will choose to further their career elsewhere. The quick recovery of the US job market has also contributed to many companies ramping up their hiring efforts and employees seeking new opportunities. In regards to the compensation, TA SLT recently worked closely with our partners in Compensation on a full market analysis for our Recruiting and Sourcing roles in the U.S., and in direct response to the data, we have adjusted the salary bands for U.S. recruiting and sourcing job profiles, effective June 1. If you want to speak to us further and confidentiality please email us at inside@indeed.com where we can work to address any concerns you may have.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
