Pros

Companies are pigeonholed into spending and know they need Indeed because of its high volume of traffic. Made a good amount of money in sales ($300k+ several times).

Cons

Everything else. So micro-managey, when I left the travel KPIs were insane (24 face to faces a month on a book of business of like 7 clients), and senior leadership blames sales for its failures when really it constantly angers clients with frequent changes and sunsetting of great products with the promise of better ones that never happen. Market conditions heavily factor in how much clients spend - if they aren’t hiring as much they aren’t going to spend as much! And the quotas are absolute nonsense. You can had your best year ever when you’re the laziest and your worst when you worked hardest, hitting here just depends on luck.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
