Pros

Completely depends on location/team as its so inconsistent across the board. Benefits are pretty good, salary is benchmarked across locations/industries. If you're a "rising star" type of talent, good L&D opportunities. DEI is fantastic and refreshing to see a company not just making noise about but really showcasing their policies.

Cons

Only speaking from my own experience (Global IT), it has got so politically charged where people will do anything to progress in the littlest possible way, no matter who gets in their way. Career progression within the UK is non-existent, at the time of writing there are no senior roles based in the UK and nothing done to make UK colleagues feel included without travelling to Paris where all decisions are made informally. The mandated hybrid policy needs some flexibility for global roles instead of sitting in an office by yourself.

Pros

Ipsen continues to offer a mission‑driven environment where teams are genuinely committed to improving outcomes for patients and society, and that sense of purpose shows up in the day‑to‑day culture. Collaboration across functions is strong, and there are meaningful opportunities to contribute to strategy, development, and cross‑functional problem‑solving. We have an amazing team filled with valuable talents.

Cons

The pace of change and evolving priorities can sometimes create ambiguity, and some processes still require tighter alignment to reduce friction and improve consistency. Development pathways and communication around long‑term strategy can feel uneven depending on the team. However, Ipsen remains a place where impact, collaboration, and purpose are real strengths, with room to continue strengthening operational clarity and consistency as the organization grows, which is an achievement.

Pros

Some nice colleagues. Good perks.

Cons

High leadership turnover and lack of transparency and direction. A few toxic individuals are running the show, promoting inexperienced employees at the expense of competent ones.
