I have been working at IPSEN full-time

    Pros

Open dialogue, clear direction, strictly NO BLAME culture. Open to new ideas and initiatives. Welcome collaboration and team work. Patient at heart of everything we do shines through!

    Cons

IT can be a challenge! Outsourcing certain functions can cause duplication instead of simplification of work as form filling arduous.

I have been working at IPSEN full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are no ceilings, not literally but opporrtunity for involvment and cross training are all open. All hands on deck mentality. Create your vision for yourself and work towards it, nobody will try to stop you.

    Cons

With the opportunity and speed of development this environment will only suit a hard working and results orientated mentality. The more you do the more you are given, it can be difficult to maintain a healthy work life balance with so much opportunity.

I have been working at IPSEN full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years, working in Biotech and big pharma. This is by far the best company I have worked for. It is fast paced but processes are in place and many under development, you can contribute towards the improvement of these processes. Your voice is heard, your job is as expanded as you want it to be (just look for the opportunities!) I have seen several excellent managers in different parts of the organization (HR in Milton Park, Project Management Office, leadership site in Milton Park) to name a few. Colleagues are really friendly, you get to work with virtual teams in Europe and Canada/ USA. We are developing great products Project teams structure is very dynamic There is a lot of talent in the organisation and high performers People genuinely care about their jobs Work-life balance is great Diversity is great Company cares for employees- a nice surprise present was sent from site leadership in Milton Park to our homes during the crisis The company is making strides towards establishing a more permanent work from home pattern Offices (France, Wrexham in Wales, Milton Park are truly beautiful) Subsidized canteen for employees Sports subsidy Off site gatherings for project teams

    Cons

We spend a lot of our time reporting project status and going through project reviews. I wish the work was more focus towards running the projects and delivering the products quicker to market The extra project reviews are due to two big changes in leadership (CEO/ R&D Management) hope management is more stable in the years to come

I have been working at IPSEN full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I've been here 3 months with over 20 years in the Pharma industry. The Onboarding & Training experience has been excellent. Ipsen continues to impress with salary, benefits, company car, technology, etc. They have also shown how much care for their employees during the COVID-19 crisis. I am extremely happy with my decision to change companies.

    Cons

    Haven't come across any yet.

I have been working at IPSEN full-time

    Pros

    - Solid legacy portfolio - Hardly a M&A target - Possibility to rotate between functions and gain experience in various roles - Great people and collaborative spirit - Can deliver on major projects (launch plan...) overnight

    Cons

    - Pipeline 2021-beyond - Finds it difficult to embrace its own diversity and reconcile French roots / US presence / business in other countries. - Struggles to take decisions on non-priority assets - Low salary up to SVP
