Pros
Hourly rate is good Time goes quickly screening people I enjoyed the work and the people who worked with me
Cons
16-20 hours Middle of the day schedule so you have almost no options for a 2nd job. Last minute calls and cancelation No care if you can't pay your bills and have a second job. They called me 3 hours before a shift started telling me I need to work and threatening to let me go if I don't work when called. Due to me needing to pay my rent and other bills I had to work more at my second job. Because of this I was fired and told that because I wasn't available 24/7 I am "disqualified" from the position. The entire process has been terrible. 4 months from the initial interview (which one of the HR people was 3 hours late to) we finally get sent an application. I had some questions regarding the application. My emails were ignores for almost a week after the application was submitted. We then had the training day. It was unorganized, followed by more threats of "if you're not available 24/7 you will most likely not be called back" After training we were told that our schedule will be emailed out on Thursday or Friday. That did not happen. Instead myself and several others were called Monday morning, 3 hours prior to a shift start and then given a schedule for only 16 hours. The same thing happened again. We were told schedules would be out by Friday, didn't arrive until late Saturday night telling us to work Sunday. During that week, on Friday night we were told the Saturday shift is canceled giving us 16 hours only. This is at Pearson airport. It is a joke and completely unacceptable.
