Even though the FDM Careers Programme is primarily made up of graduates, we also have an ex-Forces and returners to work pathway as you probably know (for those who have been on a career break). Ultimately, we assist individuals from a variety of backgrounds to bridge the gap they are facing (due to lack of experience in the field, lack of training, lack of confidence or simply lack of opportunities). The training is fully funded by FDM and, like any business, FDM needs to realise a return, this is why the two-year bond is in place – allowing the fees to be paid back only on the rare occasion that the contract isn’t fulfilled. However, the vast majority of FDM consultants do progress to enjoy successful and rewarding careers like you have.
