Pros

- Awesome workspace - Good people - You are respected - Random benefits; the company does a great job at at least trying to emulate that 'game development' atmosphere that smaller companies have.

Cons

- Large company means creativity is stifled and you don't get much impact on the final product - They have a policy about keeping employees on contract for as long as possible

Pros

There’s sometimes a stigma that comes with working at EA but internally the company is well managed and employs some of the best people. Individuals that work here are extraordinarily passionate about what they do and very well qualified. Human Resources and managers are down to earth and support employees well. Compensation for work is fair and large scale layoffs have been infrequent during my time

Cons

The cultural stigma that is associated with the company due to previous and certain c-suite decisions. Additionally, the development cycles to release titles year over year can become difficult to manage with tech debt produced from previous cycles.

Pros

A lot of good and smart people that are able to create good work together.

Cons

Restructuring every year, nepotism, no clear path for career progression at all, senior leadership isn’t communicating clearly, acquisition communication has been non-existent, layoffs are a constant factor and fear, unclear why some people get promoted and many high performers do not
