Pros

nice office - great location. Great events for Christmas and in the summer. Most co-workers are friendly, young, creative and open-minded people. Easy vacation system. You don't have to plan one year ahead and you can take a day off very last-minute

Cons

young and unexperienced managers. Company encourages employees to be very competitive against each other. Employees who get promoted are mostly the ones that suck of to the managers. Good and hard work only will not be rewarded. Working hours in the sales department are very unsatisfactory and management can change them very rapidly. Management encourages a short-term employment to keep the cost very low. There is one intern in every team (sometimes even two). They aren't taken good care of. EF prefers to hire interns because they know that they are inexperienced and will do everything they're told and also because they are cheaper. Way to many staff changes internally. EF doesn't really care about the customer. Only sales is important. Employees are expected to work long hours. Managers are mostly very unexperienced.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
