Pros
My immediate group of co-workers are great and work/life balance has been good so far. Good amount of PTO given.
Cons
You will not get a raise unless you are promoted, which is difficult to accomplish, especially in their very heavy DEI culture. It doesn't matter if you are a top performer and regular go above and beyond your role. The fact that everyone is dealing with insanely high inflation and cost of living increases does not matter to the decision-makers in Germany. Training is mediocre at best. You are provided training when you first join but it does not cover everything and there are little to no references you go turn to for help. You will only know you did something wrong when your supervisor points it out. Training is essentially learning from your mistakes during your first year.
