Pros

Great group of employees work with on a regular basis. Good salary, bonus, benefits.

Cons

Senior leaders are so inflexibly focused on their in-office requirements and where you are located, to the point where they nearly wipe out entire functional areas and either fire or cause to leave even more highly qualified employees if not willing or able to meet these requirements (60% of the time). Policies put in place to limit the company's carbon footprint seem to lead to leadership traveling to conferences and workshops and the majority of those further down the ladder having to limit and/or spend significant time justifying basic business travel and conference attendance, while expending carbon to meet the daily attendance requirements, regardless of the need to be present in the office (which isn't part of their carbon footprint calculations). Direct leadership tries to cushion the blow of some of these policies, but at the end of the day there's only so much that can be done.

Pros

The page is friendly to make an application.

Cons

As an experienced healthcare analytics and commercial leader, I applied to 104 U.S.-based positions at AstraZeneca between 2025 and 2026 that closely matched my background. Despite receiving interviews from peer organizations, I did not receive a single recruiter interaction. I fully understand the competitiveness of hiring, but such a complete lack of engagement raises questions about potential overreliance on AI screening or unintended bias.
