Pros
Impressive global projects. Flexible working. Nice offices. Private Health Care.
Cons
I cannot emphasise enough how poor salaries are here compared to competitors, it's honestly shocking. I've received a £20k increase at a different company for exactly the same job (with a lot less stress!). Lots of empty promises, management will entice you with the prospect of travel via short or long term assignments but it will literally never happen. Some staff have incredibly arrogant, elitist attitudes, with no shame in letting you know you're not as important as them. This is the same with the graduates too, not just senior Directors. The company has inherently changed in recent years and all the good people who have been at Arup for 30+ years are leaving in their droves, No profit share and not enough money for an xmas party, yet the Grade 9s who took voluntary redundancy got paid their bonuses?! You'll have 'reasonable prosperity' as long as you aren't below a Grade 6 or part of business support.
