Pros
Learned a ton coming right out of university. They throw you into the fire immediately and there's a ton of leadership visibility. Was promoted quickly and had several great and very supportive managers. RSUs can be very lucrative, but only if they were granted at low stock prices. Health insurance is very good and includes free premium One Medical membership.
Cons
Incredibly demanding, intense hours, tons of office politics, too many layers, too many leaders to answer to, teams are structured too much like a matrix and not linear enough, no office perks (other than 1 free coffee per day), parking is $200/month, PTO is discouraged, 5 days in the office, lack of upwards mobility past L6, annual comp adjustments are very small (expect 0% to 2%), salaries are not competitive for tenured employees, frequent turnover on teams
