Pros

All projects expect huge scale. I would say compensation, but there are nuances.

Cons

Hard dependency on Seattle office hours (9 hours difference) forces to stay late to get things done. People working on promotion tend to work 10-12 day, weekends. Because of the two years of plague most of the teams work remote, thus the quality of onboarding is dramatic. Base salary compensation is not competitive for what they ask. Late meetings (they tend to start in 17:00-19:00 range lasting easily till 21:00). Teams understaffed, 40-60% time dedicated to meetings and sync-ups where you get pushed to do more random stuff for US team, while your project is suffering.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
