Pros

Decent pay, benefits, remote work options, some people are smart/nice/productive etc

Cons

Where to start... constant org changes by execs made and rolled out impulsively with little logistical forethought... expected to work and be available weekends even if they didn't tell you upon taking the job...expectations increase to unreasonable heights... constant stress and over work... very hard to move up and whoever butters the right person up gets the promotion or deference... essentially very little work/life balance... they care very little about employee retention and expect you to stay 2 years or less, it's rare you see someone on a team for longer than that and they are the most senior. There may be 'good teams' but you are expendable and they make it clear. Not a long term career place. Snake pit by NYT was accurate. If you want to be treated like a human, run the other direction or use it as a spring board/resume booster only. Won't get better unless corp culture changes and the execs don't care.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
