Pros
Amazon Retail is a great way to challenge yourself while keeping you up to date with new technologies. At the same time, you get to make a direct and huge impact to final customers.
Cons
As always, there's a downside. Moving fast across technologies and building highly reliable systems at a large scale requires constant evolution and collaboration across multiple areas. Somethings is hard to keep a fast pace in those scenarios.
