Pros
I was fortunate enough to be able to maintain a healthy work/life balance for the most part. Compensation is very competitive.
Cons
Good management is incredibly hard to find. Orders get barked down from above and front-line managers aren't willing to stick up for the team, leading to burnout and poor decision making. Voicing concern to management about prioritization issues, team issues, or any issues really are left on deaf ears, unless you've found a good manager. Management has consistently shown a complete lack of empathy towards direct reports and you can feel the depression when you join a team meeting or interact with others.
