Pros

Pay is better than most. Benefits are satisfactory. Paid vacation.. 401k. Some of the coworkers!

Cons

Skeleton staff. Unrealistic expections. Everything is timed. Stress load is very high. Sometimes working 5 or 6 hours with no break. If you are lucky, you can get 3 seconds to run to the bathroom between customers. Work/life balance is non existent. From the minute you start your shift, it is 100 Miles per hour-non stop. Do not expect to be able to leave at your scheduled end time. Long hours som times. (10 hrs or more). Very high turnover.

Pros

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
