      Pros

      Innovative company, many businesses that developed products that are important to other business operations.

      Cons

      The company has losts their way with only short term wall street focus. Since turning into a financial company vs. the original innovation company. Only way executive management knows to meet wall street demands are to eliminate jobs. Actual development of products, or innovation true to the core has all been reduced. Recycled executive team just brings that same ideas

      Cons

      The IT org is constantly going through layoffs. The work is going to managed service providers in India. The whole process is clown shoes. They are letting people go that have been here for 20+ years that have so much knowledge and expect to transfer it over to workers who are extremely siloed, who might not even be around in 6 months(the retention rate for this particular MSP is abysmal). These workers are not even dedicated to 3M, they have many other projects. I’m concerned for 3M’s IT future. Walking over dollars to pick up pennies
