      Pros

      Smart people who are very dedicated to providing industry and consumers with excellent technological solutions. Kind work culture. Good work life balance.

      Cons

      Low diversity. Poor marketing skills thought organization. Lack of focus on business investments within divisions. Lack of understanding on how to grow a business (other than buying one, or throwing it out there with minimal support).

      Good pay, benefits, and time off

      Cons

      The IT org is constantly going through layoffs. The work is going to managed service providers in India. The whole process is clown shoes. They are letting people go that have been here for 20+ years that have so much knowledge and expect to transfer it over to workers who are extremely siloed, who might not even be around in 6 months(the retention rate for this particular MSP is abysmal). These workers are not even dedicated to 3M, they have many other projects. I’m concerned for 3M’s IT future. Walking over dollars to pick up pennies
