Pros

You will enjoy Elvesys/ Elveflow if you don't really care about your future whatsoever and just want to stay in Paris and enjoy the parties. The company desperately clings to any and every measure to keep it afloat. Be it lying to managers, researchers or unethical hiring practises.

Cons

The founders have no clue about the direction of the company - is it a product based company ? is it a SAAS ? is it a research institution ? or Edtech? All elements from silicon valley are blindly followed, the line ''we are all a tribe'' is also copied from a book called ''Delivering Happiness". The CEO and his deputies largely encourage the notion "Fake It Till You Make It'' . But the marketing division of the company has faked a lot more than the research/ IU division can make and to the onlooker everything is but a lie. The tangible result of these lies is that your project suffers terribly but the intangible result is that all motivation to work for such a company is dead and leaves you with utter disappointment and disrespect for the founders and the executives. Everyday a question haunts you as to why you are doing this meaningless work for such a meagre pay. The work not only kills the motivation but also jeopardises your future employability elsewhere. Only after you leave here will you realize that the skills gained here are practically useless elsewhere. When you express these doubts with the executives, severe manipulation methods will be employed to convince you that it is not so, if you still don't yield they will scheme and use passive aggressive methods to push you to resign. Worst plight is that of researchers who join, there are no facilities in the company that qualify the place for any form of research, applied or fundamental. Innovation Unit is a joke at its best. The individuals working here neither have the experience nor the expanse of knowledge required to supervise such wide range of projects with variety of applications. Academics look down on the work because it is not state of the art, other companies will not hire you because in general the work is not relevant to the existing technology. The tag that Elveflow is a innovation company is questionable in itself, none of the equipment were built in-house. Pressure controller, flow sensors, Mux were licensed from other companies like Bronkhorst. Even with its equipment Elveflow is merely playing catch-up with the competition. On the whole this place is not worth the hype - just avoid if you can. All the negative reviews mentioned about the company previously are true. Its not surprising if ppl were paid to write the positive reviews.

Pros

Elveflow has a very nice environment, many great people to work with and it is nicely located in Paris. The jobs themselves are usually very open and make room for some adaptation based on personal preferences.

Cons

The workload is often calculated based on unrealistic work hours, i.e. Elveflow may agree on a short deadline with a client assuming that its employees will work 10h a day to meet it. Micro-management is also a very big problem, as are the differences between theory and practice in what the management board advertises as workplaces/workload improvements. The salaries are quite low.
