Pros

Great Interview process. Friendly, professional people. Welcoming environment. Staff well-being is a high priority. Lots of discounts and additional benefits available.

Cons

The company is subscribed to "Bike2work" scheme, However, the local Halfords only supports the "Cycle2Work" scheme. If the company could sign up to Cycle2Work, this would the process much easier for staff local to Newark.

The people you work with Flexible working

Cons

New systems designed without thinking of the end user or even having conversations with the people using it. No formal product training, only peer to peer so no baseline for performance or knowledge. Ego's over experience, people with titles that like to swing them around rather than listen to team members that have direct experience in their areas. Would rather stamp their authority instead of focusing on the customer experience. No progression unless you suck up, if your face doesn't fit then you are going nowhere. Lots of 'You should do it that way' but no alternatives that work so you live in 'workaround' mode all the time. Happy to pile on the responsibilities without any increase in compenation. Preaching about culture and values but it's all smoke and mirrors.

The team offers opportunities to learn in the role. A wide range of services and devices are supported, offering a multifaceted learning experience in configuring, customer support, some end user support and some storage related tasks.

Cons

On the flip side, the wide range of supported services and devices can make workflow chaotic at times.
