Pros

As no one care you're left alone

Cons

Managed by a few psychopath managers, playing psychological schemes on everyone to hide their own selfishness. Saw hired people leaving for burnout recognized as work accident. Happy direction enjoying making employees crying considering this as management competencies. Top direction full of white males in their 50 making fun of women and other diverse population. Enjoy your poor little life.

Pros

- Some good pockets of people - People are Midwest nice - Common theme is that what you could get done elsewhere in six weeks takes 6-12 months at Dematic, so it's great place if you just want to punch the clock, endlessly kick the can down the road, and avoid delivering anything.

Cons

- Internal tools are terrible (laptops, network connectivity, various applications) - Too many insecure middle-age to near-retirement age people that prioritize "keeping job at all costs" instead of taking ownership, boldly taking responsibility, and helping to drive solutions. - Very immature processes & skills (a lot of people have spent their entire career with Dematic). - Relies on outside consultants and paid industry insights more than any company I've ever seen. - PTO is antiquated (New Years, MLK, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, usually a few days around Christmas depending on timing, floating holiday). You earn certain hours each month based on time with company and have a cap on how many hours you can accrue (earn ~8 hours / month with 100 hour cap for years 1-2; earn 10 hours / month with 120 hour cap for years 2-5; earn ~12 hours / month with 140 hour cap for years 5-10; earn ~13 hours / month with 160 hour cap for years 10+). Many employees don't start with a balance, so if you are a new employee, it will take you five months to earn a week off).

Pros

Nothing, it started out with good work.

Cons

The management structure under leadership like Ganesh Ram operates on personal connections rather than merit. He is close to the HR, and together they take critical decisions which are made exclusively within a small inner circle with zero transparency. Ganesh and his allies deliberately hides important project files and information from team members outside their trusted group, creating an environment where only those in favor have access to necessary resources. When strategic decisions need to be made, these discussions happen behind closed doors among Ganesh and his preferred colleagues, regardless of who should actually be involved based on expertise or responsibility. The outcomes invariably benefit Ganesh's position or career advancement while sidelining others.
