Awful, greedy company that does not care one bit about their employees. Just wanted to confirm, like a lot of reviews have said below, that Boohoo used the furlough scheme to make a LOT of redundancies across the entire company. Cannot see the justification in a massive company like Boohoo making redundancies during a global pandemic. Meanwhile Boohoo is booming, they're making money off of coronavirus fashion face masks and other distasteful 'merchandise' and buying out companies that have gone into administration because of the current climate. It's just gross.
It goes without saying that (unnecessarily) losing my job during a global pandemic has been beyond stressful and exhausting. To top it off, Boohoo has made everyone sign NDA's which stops us from talking about this to anyone except immediate family which is insane! I'm not allowed to discuss what happened with my former workmates which makes everything so awkward now. They just truly backed me into a corner and left me feeling really down during a time that is already overwhelming and stressful.
