We absolutely acknowledge it is a busier time than usual for our people; we’re growing as an organisation and have therefore hired a number of employees to support the high growth we’re experiencing. We are committed to continuing to grow our investment in our people, products and solutions now and into the future. Pros

The people, nice friendly bunch

Cons

Poor salary, was on a contract that I assumed would be made into full-time after it expired (one year). Was offered another contact at the end. Salary didn't reflect a contact developer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We must admit it has left us a bit stumped as we don’t actually have Contract Software Engineers at Comrad. With a solid pipeline of work and new products under development we like to support our teams of Engineers with the security and terms of permanent employment contracts. From time to time we may engage with third party consultancies to boost our workforce for specialist roles but our software engineer roles are complex and take time to build the required capability making them largely unsuitable for external support. We have put a lot of work into being more transparent on how we approach remuneration at Comrad and will continue to do this. We look at a range of factors when sizing a role including external market data and internal relativity to inform a band for a base salary. We then look at what skills and experience someone brings and include a range of great employee benefits ‘Comrad.Perks’ to build out an attractive package. We regularly update these and have this year added additional paid parental leave and paid birthday leave with a paid volunteer day soon to join these in support of our Corporate Social Responsibility approach. We would welcome the opportunity to talk with you further for more context– the Comrad Leadership Team.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It is great to hear that you enjoy the work environment we are creating at Comrad and the flexible working options on offer. We have recently undertaken a career pathway project which has mapped a pathway for each of our roles to show the opportunities available and support we can offer through L&D to get you where you want to be. Please reach out to any of us if you'd like to talk this through. Comrad Leadership team.
