Pros

Few pros, mostly the core staff, they are great.

Cons

A lot of cons. Everything that others said it's completely true. Company's culture is rotten. A very strong German/Swiss mindset, if you are not from there you are totally excluded by the management. Very few opportunities for growth, even though it is a small start-up (it is counterintuitive). C-levels have consulting background, which makes the company be purely based on slides, no real work being done. A lot of bureaucracy for such a small company, impossible to work agile. "Tech" company but they have the tech outsourced, makes no sense, making them so slow. No learning from data and user tests (no product mindset). In general, a company that could have a lot of potential but that is not working.

Pros

The start of the journey

Cons

Where to start … everything other reviews here mentions before is correct. This company is much like the titanic .. let’s see which is the ice berg that sinks it. Maybe it will be the poor sales or maybe the management.. let’s see.

Pros

1. Flexible working - You are required to be in the office for only 4 days a month. 2. HR, especially Ciaran, who assisted me during my offboarding process.

Cons

1. In hindsight, my primary regret in my career journey lies in accepting the offer from this company and dedicating seven months of my time to them. Despite foregoing offers from reputable MNCs to join a startup, the experience has been far from satisfactory. 2. Despite initial assurances that I would report to the CTO, upon joining, I found myself under the supervision of a business analyst with significantly less experience and expertise. Addressing this issue only seemed to exacerbate tensions, as my concerns were perceived as threats, and there was evident personal insecurity on their part. 3. The seven months spent here were characterized by extensive hours, often exceeding 12-14 hours a day, including weekends, attempting to resolve production issues stemming from the inadequacies in design and development by these inexperienced analysts. 4. Additionally, encountering a techops person who struggled with fundamental IT concepts was emblematic of the challenges faced, further draining energy that could have been allocated more effectively. 5. This company doesn't quite align with the typical insurtech model; it seems to lean more towards a body shop approach.
