Pros

Theres a bus stop in front

Cons

They're quick to hire anyone with a degree but butcher the hiring process and hire bogus characters. Supervisors always have their favorite. Don't expect to be properly compensated for your degree. Management will threaten your position every chance they get if you don't agree with that is being said to you. There is no higher position than what you were hired for.

Pros

We received Decent Benefits (health insurance, union) . The best thing about working for Head Start is making a difference in a child's life, and helping them through their developmental milestones.

Cons

Too much micro managing and not enough leadership skills amongst upper management. School follows outdated policies and procedures. No appreciation from upper management, especially when we are required to work long hours for low pay. An extremely high turnover rate for such a small company. Teachers often work alone with 17 - 20 children .
