Pros
- Working in the food industry was fun - They have lots of products that are in demand in their industry
Cons
First of all, the interview was a bait and switch. They presented/sold this idea of the new role, but it was totally different once I got in. Shamelessly, one of them even said once I've been working there and beginning to see the 'real' work environment, "oh, you're getting to know the real Comcater." Overall cons: - Old school, lazy thinking - There's a desire to improve and modernise their operation, but they put in a half-baked effort - The management is a bit lost. I stepped into a new role, and they naively expected way too much from it. They essentially wanted to replace their digital marketing agency with one in-house person (to save costs), and they thought that one person can do everything as quickly as an agency - Compensation is low relative to the market
