Pros
I do like some of the people I’ve worked with over the years. The higher up a got the more I recognised that the issues stemmed from the head office teams and directors. The regional team and some senior regionals are actively trying to make things better. Honestly if it wasn’t for my team and the first couple of years, I’d give them 0 stars. Which says something because the first few years was when you’d get yelled at by senior management and it was somehow still better.
Cons
- inadequate training and staffing - excessive high volume workload with little to no support - poor performance management and handling of bullying and harassment concerns from senior management - poor communication within head office and on road teams which filters to floor teams, becoming their problem to solve. - poor investment into systems development instead of people
