Pros

Nice uniform twice a year Staff are friendly to one another as they know mgmt are inept, bond on shared weight of tasks

Cons

No internal progression No route for progress offered to any hard worker No incentive to do better- gets embarrassing if you work hard as you’re not benefiting from it. All you end up doing is making mgmt life easier Extreme favouritism to the point of pointing out one staff members personal style as negative, but praising another for the same thing

Stay clear of this company. They will not treat you well.

Pros

A trashy 25% discount on cheaply made clothes. Nothing else.

Cons

This is for Dublin (Wicklow ST) Unprofessional management, never seen before levels of unprofessional behaviour from 'Management'. Extremely unorganized. Management never helping on the floor with tasks even if they're on the planner for any task you will be fully expected to fill their spot without them consulting you because they're too busy in an office watching tiktoks or gossiping about staff members. Management are paid not much more than full time staff but will treat you like dirt on their shoe while they spend their life working for a company that does not care about them. Management have favourites and will treat you differently if you don't act how they want you to. Management (one female) will flirt with employees on company time. Your shift will change without warning. One week you're given feedback to take initiative but the next you're told to not swap tasks or divert from the planner. Cliques, if you're not apart of the visual team you will not be spoken to like a human. The same note for the management team. Pay is not worth it at all. Not double pay on Sundays. Minimum wage, and will not increase. Fridge leaks frequently, bathrooms and sinks broken, none of the technology that is suppose to help you work, actually works. Short-staffed on busy days and over-staffed on quiet. The list genuinely extends further. Would fully avoid this company at all costs, there are other retailers that pay you more and have more benefits. If you are new you will be trained by other retail staff and not have actual training.

We are sorry to hear your feedback, this is not the experience we’d wish anyone to have at COS. Our local Area team have been informed and will be visiting the store shortly to better look into situation.
