I was actively discriminated here during my time at Boden. I raised a standard dyslexia support request, and felt it was used against me to ultimately push me out of the company. Destroyed moral and personal and professional confidence. Felt like a private girl's school, that if you didn't fit the mold you would be slowly pushed out, with discriminatory practices involving HR to ensure no liability. I thought perhaps it was personal, though have had three other colleagues experience this. Two fired, and one pushed out. A terrible culture of keeping up appearances and pressure to work late, without actually having any work to do. Approach with caution.

Very toxic culture and behaviour from management which unfortunately is trickling down and being learnt from junior employees. The Boden brand portrays itself as a fun, uplifting brand and yet all of my surrounding colleagues and myself feel downtrodden and completely stripped of the happiness we had before we started. Unfortunately many people have handed in their notice with no job to go into (many people - double figures) and yet no-one has come back to the team with an explanation nor improvement. Not sure if Johnnie knows of this behaviour in his brand but I am not sure he would want the public to know the truths of what goes on in his company - time to change Boden, stand for your brand pillars and stop telling people ‘it’s fashion’. Such bad behaviour, avoid if possible or you will doubt your self worth down the line.
