Thanks for your feedback and we’re pleased that you found our people great to work with. I’m sorry that your experience at BearingPoint didn’t include as much training as you would have liked. All staff complete a minimum of 40 hours training per year and many staff complete training hours well in excess of that. In fact, in a consultant’s first few months with the company, each new hire attends BearingPoint School in Berlin for one week, a week that our people feel grows them both personally and professionally and where they have a lot of fun! In addition, we offer a wide array of training covering technical courses, personal development, on-the-job learning as well as an online portal that offers thousands of business and technical courses. The employment market in Dublin is buoyant indeed and while we never like to see our valued employees move on, we are proud that our staff turnover rates are very low, well below the industry average. Thanks again for your review and wishing you well in your career!

Pros

Very strong people. Does a good job of hiring the right types of people.

Cons

Poor career development. Lots of fluffy talk of promotions between different grade's, analyst, senior analyst, consultant, senior consultant etc... But very poor transferability to other companies.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. Feedback is essential in order for us to be the employer of choice for top management and technology consultants. We take great pride and invest heavily in the development of our people and we are delighted that you agree our employees are very strong. We are however sorry to hear that you feel promotions weren’t as visible as they might have been during your time with us as we have very transparent performance management and career development processes in place. This year alone, 25% of staff in the Dublin office were promoted between the various grades you mention. Again, thank you for passing this feedback to us.
