- Great work, life, balance - Smart co-workers - Competitive renumeration - Solid culture & values - 100% remote (depending on role) - Diverse range of products/technologies
Cons
- Lack of agility - Monolithic code approach - Poor product strategy (or decent product managers) - For a global company they're too heavily focused on the US market - Variable salary component paid in RSU's

Pros
Akamai cares about it's people, has generous benefits and invests heavily in training it's people in Akamai as well as industry technologies. Lots of long timers in Akamai which is a testament to the culture of the company.
Cons
Akamai finds itself at crossroads: they are trying to have huge growth while maintaining very high margins which is not an easy act. 2024 could be a do-or-die year. If Akamai does well, it could be a great year or else substantial people could lose their jobs.
