While working at Aidar, I felt a lot of support from fellow engineers and they were always there to listen when I would need to vent about the senior management

Truly the most toxic work environment I have ever experienced. CEO would regularly scream at employees and take out his frustration with running the company on us. Intimidating employees into not sharing compensation information with one another to keep wages down (which is illegal). Absolutely no guidance, no direction, no clue from CEO. CTO was there one day a week (max) and would mostly just show up, make a mess and then leave early. Would frequently make excuses for CEO who was running the company into the ground. Leaving Aidar was necessary for my mental health but I am still sad that it didn’t work out. Management was more concerned with keeping up appearances than producing any valuable products or taking care of employees. 2 stars is for the team of engineers who were all superstars. It is amazing anything gets done over there but it is all on the backs of engineers who care about their work and want to make a difference. Despite a CEO who openly resents them and gossips about them to other employees behind their back.
