AtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented GIS Consultant to join our Highways & Transportation team based in Dublin.

You will collaborate with colleagues to develop digital and geospatial solutions for our clients across a range of sectors, including highways, transportation, infrastructure, and environment.

Your role

• Support multi-disciplinary teams with spatial data analysis and mapping solutions.
• Create high-quality cartographic products using ESRI tools for field planning, reporting, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain web-based mapping applications (e.g., ArcGIS Online) for data visualization and dissemination.
• Enable mobile data collection for field crews using GPS-enabled devices and ESRI Field Maps.
• Perform spatial data processing, including capture, conversion, and translation.
• Manage geodatabases, ensuring data integrity through archiving and cleanup.

About you

• Degree Level 8 +or equivalent in GIS or geospatial systems.
• Relevant years of post-graduate experience in ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Proficient in other ESRI tools and platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, Survey123) and QGIS.
• Knowledgeable in open-source GIS platforms and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project objectives.
