*General Manager — Kilians Lodge Hotel Ltd**
- Manage day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable performance
- Lead, supervise, and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service and consistent product quality
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain stock levels and control costs
- Coordinate workflow for front-of-house and back-of-house teams, scheduling and delegating tasks as needed
- Monitor cash handling, banking, and retail financials; implement corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, and uphold quality standards
- Drive marketing and promotions, manage reservations (if applicable), and enhance guest experience
- Analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement improvements to increase revenue and efficiency
- Manage maintenance and facility needs, equipment upkeep, and safety inspections
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally; foster a positive workplace culture
- Collaborate with owner/leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
**Requirements / Skills:**
- **Leadership & team management**: proven track record in supervising diverse staff, training, and performance management
- **Operations expertise**: strong ability to oversee all daily activities, from ordering to service delivery
- **Financial acumen**: experience with budgeting, cost control, and basic P&L knowledge
- **Customer service orientation**: commitment to high standards and guest satisfaction
- **Problem-solving mindset**: calm under pressure with effective decision-making
- **Communication**: clear, positive communication with staff, suppliers, and customers
- **Adaptability**: ability to manage changing demands and busy peak periods
- **Experience**: previous general manager, operations manager, or restaurant/hospitality leadership role preferred
- **Availability**: flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
