I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at iMATCHATIVE (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter at iMatchative. Had technical interview with one of their engineers. Questions were designing and complexities related. Went well, got called for an onsite and scheduled it. Spoke to 4 people including a lunch interview. All along the process they never mentioned that they were looking for a candidate with a specific technology expertise. I was completely transparent about my abilities and made sure they knew about it before proceeding.
Interview questions were okay and I did pretty well and was even acknowledged about it. After the interview, I was told that the feedback was really positive and that I would be a good fit and salary negotiations were on the table.
I am not sure about what happened that they changed their mind and decided they needed someone with specific technology expertise. It was not a good experience especially after being very explicit about myself and hoping for the same transparency from them.
Did not end up getting an offer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at iMATCHATIVE
Interview
Spoke to 5 people in one day. Each took about 45 minutes and there was a break in the middle for lunch. Each person talked about iMatchative, their product, and direction, then went on to their own questions. There was some whiteboarding about css and javascript, one programming question, and one brain teaser.
Overall I didn't feel too grilled. People were friendly and it was a pleasure speaking with them.

Question 1
Won't spoil their questions, but one interesting question I received was: do you think there will be a time when natural language processing is strong enough that we can input a description of a app and get back the product?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at iMATCHATIVE in May 2014
Interview
I was initially contacted by email and was asked if I was available for a 30 minute call. The first question asked if I had a specific background, which I did not, and which was very clear from my resume or LinkedIn. After that, the rest of the interview was fine, but we did not move forward because I didn't have that background.
