I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Zillow
Interview
Kind, a bit slow but that is normal nowadays and I enjoyed the conversations and learning more about the culture through out the process. Overall I felt that the individuals were genuine.
Thank you for sharing your perspective on the interview process. It’s great to hear that the conversations felt genuine and gave you a good sense of the culture. We also appreciate your note on timing - that’s something we continue to evaluate as we work to create a more seamless process for candidates.
Application
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Zillow in Sept 2021
Interview
The interview was with Zillow Offers - the process was a bit interesting and disorganized. In the beginning everything was great. I had a phone screen with a recruiter and the hiring manager prior to moving to a “loop” interview (essentially a 4 person panel interview). Everyone was very nice however I noticed that they were all late to the Zoom interviews except one. After the interview I was told I would hear back in a week or so. A week and a half later still hadn’t heard anything so I asked for an update, was told early next week. This back and forth happened for 4 straight weeks with the last one being the most comical. I was told by my recruiting “advocate” on a Thursday that I would have a final answer the following Monday only to not hear from him until 10 days later. The entire process took over 6 weeks after finally getting an email late at night that I didn’t get the role. Never received feedback or anything.
Come to find out it was probably a blessing in disguise with what just happened with Zillow Offers.
