Initial call with HR to discuss the role and clear some basic questions to get to the next stage. Next stage was an interview with the buyer. Well coordinated and a very relaxed conversational type of interview which made the process less stressful. Last stage I had to prepare a SWOT analysis and trends for SS21. Enough time was allotted to prepare this and it was a good opportunity to understand more about the brand and show this in the project. First half of the final interview was with HR discussing STAR based questions then the second half was with the Buyer and Team Lead presenting the projects and going through some more questions - again very conversational and relaxed - kudos to Zalando, they really foster an environment that brings out the best in candidates. Tips - honestly just be yourself, don’t say stuff you think they want to hear. If you don’t know something, just say or ask for a rephrase.

About 8-9 days after the application, the recruiter reached out for an interview with the hiring manager the following week. The interview was mostly focusing on soft skills. Following the interview, the company took 5-6 weeks to send a rejection.
